But for solid chicken bun with eggrolls you can do far worse than Le Saigon right nearby on Santa Monica Blvd. I wouldn't order anything else there, but the bun is reliably good, especially with plenty of chili sauce. Also, on a tangential note, I loved the cold cuts and bread on the Spice Table banh mi, but the vegetables needed to be a pickled just a bit more. I like a little more funk. Been eyeballing this place on my trips to Tsujita and can’t wait to try it. I've never thought of bun as a salad, but I think you're on to something there. As an aside, the Spice Table has a special bahn mi of sliced turkey, smoked mozzarella, and bacon chutney now.
