  1. It's clear that a cart these days needs a web site, if only to provide a landing spot for these types of articles.

    Hungry, street meat isn't hip enough to be on that list. Notify the Zagats once you spot a hipster halal truck.

    I vote for lame, in that Zagat/Chowhound kind of lameness.

  5. Example: Everyone here knows where the best breakfast cart is. But they don't have a web page, as far as I know, so they don't make this list. The list has as a guideline "trucks that can be found on the web" so its not totally lame to leave out some of the best carts. But still...

    Note to Street Vendor Initiative, or whatever the name is, instead of rigged contests awarding dubious accolades, you might REALLY help these guys by getting them up on the web in some basic manner.

  6. Oh yeah, and Papa Perrone's is closed by 2pm, good luck with that shit for dinner. ML is my Zagat.
