There is a Peter's since 1969 over on 9th just above 42nd as well. My roommate goes every once in a while and likes their chicken, I still haven't tried.

I've been to the Peter's on 9th. Very "up market Boston market." Not the best chicken ever (oh if only we could have a Zankou Chicken here)...but definitely respectable. I think that will do considerably better than Yummy Yummy did. Knew Yummy wasnt going to last when Soom Soom opened across the street.

Holy shit I wish there was a Zankou chicken here. I live by the original Peter's on Bedford Ave. Their chicken salad sandwich is pretty good, the rotisserie chicken is just ok. Ever since meatball shop moved in next door they've been pretty empty.

Nah, most Armenians say the quality has gone down after the guy killed his parents. I still want a shirt though.

Peter's since 1969. So I googled it and found this: http://www.peterssince.com/ Very intriguing. The lunch specials are all in the Midtown Lunch Price range. Anyway, once I had the Soom Soom Falafel across the street from Yummy Yummy, I knew they weren't long for the block. Nonethless, surprised something else moving in so fast.
