i used to work there. Merril Cafeteria has great hot wraps. different one everyday. taco, chicken caesar, buffalo chicken.
-
delivery.
-
yeah, that's almost the only place i've been getting food for two meals a day, but i'm trying to find some less institutional fare. the vegetable combo at bangal curry on church is decent but a bit far for the desk-bound.
-
i think you're in delivery range for L&L Hawaiian BBQ if you want a big and fat plate lunch ... but you have to order like an hour in advance.
Blarney Stone also delivers...
Wow, actually, I think you're SOL on this one. Sorry :(
-
haha, i thought so. i'm doomed. thanx anyway.

i used to work there.. and would regularly order in from Sophie's, get from that chinese place downstairs, the little charlie's truck outside (shrimp parm hero medium spicy). make sure to get to the truck early though. they run out quickly, or at least they used to. dont even know if they're still there. of course, when i was there, the company i worked for had some awesome sushi twice a week in our caf...
there also used to be this japanese delivery guy who would deliver to all the nomura people. i have no idea who that guy was, nor where he was coming from, but chase him down. he has a bit ol' cart and has a bunch of bento box things on it.

i used to love sophie's (extra containers of aji, please) when i worked down here a decade ago, but it's gotten pricey. did i mention i'm a cheapo? that pretty much kills au mandarin, too. chinatown . . . so close, yet so far away. *sigh* am excited to find spicy shrimp parm from a truck, tho'. thank you.

Nyonya (Malaysian food) delivers there via Seamless web. One of the tastiest options around that I'm aware of.
-
that looks delicious, but i'll have to convince someone else to join (would feel too guilty having someone hike all the way over here for a $7-10 order). pretty much an "every man for himself" situation prevailing for lunch at this point.
-
Order extra! Makes for yummy leftovers.
-
shrimp parm? Where??
-
yeah, some guidance on the shrimp would be good. i haven't figured out the locale of this little charlie's truck yet.
-
it used to be this silver cart guy at the back of the wfc.. meaning outside the exit on the side by SouthWest. if i remember correctly, there used to be a shoe repair/shoe shine store right by the exit. i wonder if he's still there. you should call little charlie's and find out if he still stops by.
