You know I love the Downtown Lunch column :) and Mamacita's Pub Report (even though I don't really hit bars) is always a fun read. Pictures of Harry are totally awesome too!!!

Mamacita's report is a fave (when it is NOT a generic overpriced suit hangout, which several of them have been). More Rudy's and Port 41!!!!!!!

I love Mama's reports, even when she goes to lame, overpriced, suit-riddled bars, since she usually has the style and grace to call them out for the goodtime graveyards they are.

Chip, OK, I'll agree with you, but I also look forward to new, cheap, dive-y places to discover. I've been to too many suit hangouts (they were mostly fun when the firm used to treat for massive drinking fests). On my own dime and with friends (not necessarily co-workers), I prefer 'real' places with character. I didn't mean to diss Mama's scribings.

@Apikoros18, couldn't agree with you more about Friday's and Tuesday. Give props to Fred and whoever else, like clockwork, posts the all caps FREAK OF THE WEEK comments every Tues.

cuz my boss works from long island and i can actually go to a buffet or somewhere that requires more then an hour to eat lunch...the bar review is also cool...

Friday is my Favorite day to read Midtown Lunch... Why? I will make a list, but bottom line, always GREAT activity!!!
1. Weekly Round-up By Zach, usually with a cute Harry Picture
2. Downtown Lunch Report by Mr. Kreiger
3. Mamacita's Pub Review (please find more free appetizers please) (Yes, Please 2x on purpose)
4. One or two Zach Food Reports
Second Fave day is Tuesday for the ever popular freak o' the week!!!
