If you want something Midtown Lunch'ish, I'm kind of a big fan of Dogmatic. Not the cheapest hot dog in the world, but I like the french bread they stuff it in and their sauce to sausage pairings are really cool and interesting.

Actually I was looking for 3 star dining with a tasting menu (before going to a rock concert).
Yeah, Dogmatic sounds like a good idea. Thanks for the pointer.

Rainbopw Falafel and Havana Central are right next to Dogmatic on 17th, and both are tasty.

Holy crap Zach... Why isn't dogmatic *everywhere* in nyc? I've never been much into dirty water dogs specifically cause of places like dogmatic. Please lean on the dogmatic owners to open up in midtown... As soon as danku is defunkt I'll be sure to find the dogmatic owners and plead with them to take the space.
Not sure if you can tell but I liked dogmatic. In general I have a soft spart for sausage (or is it a hard spot from atherosclerosis...).
Too bad they close at 8pm, otherwise I would have gone in for a second round after the show.

spart == "spot" (typed under the influence of whiskey apparently)

Other than everything that is...
I'm going to see Chickenfoot (Chad Smith of RHCP, Hagar/Anthony of VH, Joe Satriani) at Irving Plaza tonight, and I'm curious if I should get something near my office or down near the venue.
