I've yet to have anything even remotely satisfying there. It's so close to the office. So sad

Washoku Cafe, the Japanese bakery/bento place on 37th Street between Fifth and Madison, has been offering a 30% off discount on most bentos after work hours for a while now. But recently they deepened that to a 50% discount.
I don't know if that means they're in trouble, or if it's just their after-work business that is slow, but either way this looks like a good deal. I usually skip them for Cafe Zaiya so I suppose I'm contributing to the problem.
