@Hungry - i went, and took a small bite of a few dishes, and then left before it got insanely crowded. im happy to report the food stayed down, though i wasn't really able to enjoy much. my friend & i had bought vip tkts to the thing, and i knew if i didn't go, she wouldnt. couldn't find a replacement so mustered up the energy to go. hopefully next year, i'll be better to actually enjoy it. thanks for the input tho! how'd you enjoy it?
places i tried - fette sau. spot. baohaus. fatty crab. xi'an famous foods, del posto, tiffin wallah, porchetta, an choi.
places i wanted to try but couldnt - bunny chow, cheeky sandwiches, despana, the vanderbilt

Sorry I didn't go... but I will say I was royally sick and won tickets to City Meals on Wheels a few years ago, the year they did all the top French chefs and all... tickets were like $600 a person, so there was no way I was going to bail even though they were technically free... I can't tell you what all that butter did to me later that night, but it was totally worth it. :)

oh i forgot i also ate the mac n cheese from Mama's Food Shop. i dont know what i was thinking.. but i just cant say no to mac n cheese.

Food was good, but I was surprised how full I got so fast! Luke's shrimp rolls with all that buttah! The greek place from Astoria was excellent, a couple of places did deviled eggs. What the hell is up with that?!? EGGS?? That's the best you can do??? I'm looking at you Fatty Crab! I don't care how freekin cute your server was. (damn hot BTW)

@Monster: Ah sorry, been having some real work to do these days so no time to even read ML. But taking a small break now. Anyhow, I'm an animal when I go to these things. I try hit up every stand. The only ones I didn't get to were: Luke's Lobster (line too long), and a few that ran out of food before I goi there. Also, I skipped a couple of places because I didn't enjoy it last year.
Soon, I'll have a post up of the pics I took last night. I took a pic of each of the bites I had.
I'll have to go through my pics again for favs and worst. Though, I do remember last year's food was better.
PS-BF was complaining that I was going too fast. You snooze, you loose.

id like to add that considering my health situation, i wasn't able to get the full flavor of stuff i had, but an choi's pork belly, baohaus's wagyu sammy, and SPOT'S SOFT CHEESE CAKE WITH BLUEBERRY COMPOTE were sooo good.
noodles and i were not mixing well last night.
@mamacita - now that i know, if you ever come out to a future ML HH, i have a good story for you. :)
@yvo - wait. did i tell you this story already?
