Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. There's one in Hollywood, for starters. Yes, it's brick and mortar but it deserves your attention.
Santa Monica, you might not get in -- it's typically packed -- but Father's Office is an excellent bar with a stupendous burger, about ten blocks from the pier.

What kind of food are you looking for?
In Hollywood, I'd go for thai food in Thai Town. Sapp's, Pa Ord, Ruen Pair, or Jitlada.
WeHo and Beverly Hills is a wasteland for good food. Lemonade is pretty good for lunch.
Mid-Wilshire is a good place for food trucks during lunch.
And in Santa Monica/Venice I'd go to Huckleberry. A little pricey, but amazing (especially for pastries)

Thanks Zach! Where do some of the food trucks park (especially on sundays) such as Kogi? Is Mid-Wilshire around the La Brea cross street? Also, any higher ende suggestions for dinner? don't forget, coming from NYC, I'm a bit of a food snob too!
Thanks again!!

Yeah, Mid-Wilshire is between La Brea and Fairfax, although I don't think food trucks park there on the weekend.
And I don't think Kogi works on Sunday either. You'd have to go to the Alibi Room in Culver City if you wanted Kogi on a Sunday. (Or check out A Frame or Chego, their two restaurants. Both awesome.)
As for fancy dinner, I'd go to Animal (on Fairfax), Lazy Ox (Downtown), or A-Frame.

You must contact with the good agent which really helpful for you to find out the solution of the problem. Actually los angeles is really big as compared to the other cities.

Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles are really two wonderful places. I just recall the time I spent there.

I'm heading to LA in August - doing the usual tourist stuff. Looking for recommendations for lunch spots. Preferably in the WeHo, Beverly Hills, Hollywood area.
Are most trucks downtown?
I'll also have one day for lunch in the Santa Monica / Venice beach area, if there's anything good there as well.
Thank you!
