What are peoples thoughts on the the ladies selling churros off of those shopping cart/sheet pan contraptions on the subway platforms? Good Experiences? Bad ones? Any particularly good ladies out there?

I bought one on the Canal Street Platform waiting for the M. Decent but not like getting a fresh one at a street fair or theme park.. but exponentially cheaper.

    Chinatown lady offers a bag

  6. The woman at the 53rd and Lex station has bags too. Cost is $1. However, you have to wonder where they were made and where they were stored. I'd rather support a local bakery which actually pays rent.
