funny, they actually told me it was habanero and very spicy. it didn't taste like green sauce or like mint chutney. wtf?
also, smo how did you order the combo at 536? "1 mix" always works for me. never had a problem with them.

Green sauce = very spicy? For XPL? Never. That sauce is mild!! If it's habenero, it would have a kick.
I order it "mix with rice" as always. I've eaten it long enough to not call it a combo. Haha. Never FAIL til yesterday. I think the dude went brain-dead and forgot my chicken. I miss the old gray-beard dude. He never got it wrong.

I've stayed pretty loyal to the 100% Healthy and Halal off-shoot on 54th and Park. The guys there are always really nice. Today I asked for extra hot sauce (I've got a cold again - I know), and the guy was like, "no way, too hot like that, good luck!".
It was NOT that hot. But was pleasantly burny.

yea that's what i said. it wasn't spicy at all.
ah well. it's about time we moved on from 53&6. i mean i still go back to them from time to time but i no longer 'NEED' to have it.

Oh well.
Definitely no need to go out of my way for it or wait in the cold with everyone else because if they get it wrong again, I might have to throw it back at the guy's face. LOL. Just kidding. But when I do have the hankering for it, new Shendy's is right there and now serving the exact same food along with a white rice option. I just hope the lines on both carts do not start evening out...everyone else - go to 53rd and 6th for lunch!

I haven't posted about street meats in a while but really want to vent. Good thing for ML Forums.
I'm disappointed in my favorite lunch-cart today - 53rd & 6th! I waited 15 mins in the cold when logically I should've went to newly converted Shendy's on 52nd for the same food. I figure I would brave the cold with the line (Foolish idea). I order my mix with rice, walk back to my desk, and see lamb only. WHERE THE F*** is my chicken? LOL.
Lesson learned: Go to Shendy's if you want famous halal plate. I can see it from where I was standing that there was no line. What an idiot I am for waiting and not getting the full plate I want.
I can let go no beans and no fries from Little Morocco with too much hot sauce that night (my fault). I can't let go of my fav. cart getting my lunch wrong...
