A) Strip House, Keens or BLT Prime
B) Keens
C) None - all good steakhouse are generally the same price. $35-45 for just steak for one. Anything less than that and you are getting a subpar (non-prime, not dry aged) steak (i'm looking at you Angelo and Maxies). If you are looking for prime, dry-aged steak, you have to pay for it. -
I guess this is a testament that I don't eat much in steakhouses, but I haven't heard of the three places you named. I'll have to google them. Mmmm. Damn, I'm getting hungry and I'm surely not having steak today :(

tad's is ml-approved

Keens is iconic. Bourdain has a segment on it I believe....ahh yes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uw0W9dMLA90

Is Ruth's Chris really good or hype?
-
I have different answers for different types of steak. Meaning, what kind of steak are you looking for? Ribeye? Porterhouse? Filet mignon?
-
And yes, dry aged does make a difference. Are you looking for that as well?
-
Ruth's Chris is bad.
-
Hey! I like Angelo Maxies! No knocking it ESNY!
-
Goats, there is no accounting for taste.
-
ESNY, I have been to many steakhouses--gallaghers, Ben Bensons, Sparks, Lugers etc. Angelo Maxies is a great value and I prefer it over any of those places!!! IT's no slouch! Especially the Teriyaki Filet Mignon! It kicks ass!!!!

I think the point is that everyone's taste buds are difference. Some people really like eating pickles and other people hate them. The pickles taste the same but the tongues are different.

As long as no one is in full support of Outback...save your money. Cook it yourself! :P
