Soft-Shell Crabs at Cafe Duke's on 51st between 6th & 7th avenues

They are available at the salad bar today!
2 types:

One is fried and has a golden/battered look about 3.5 inches wide by 2/2.5 inches tall

The other is also fried, but the color is dark brown/maroon and just as wide, but more narrow and not as thick/meaty AND spicy

These crabs are smaller than what was offered last year if my memory is correct, but yummy nonetheless

(sorry - no pics b/c I left my phone/pc cord at home .. next time)
