Heartland Brewery isnt too bad for just a burger. Tri Tip Grill has burgers though I've never tried them.

I am a burger fanatic. My boss at my Rock Center job calls me Wimpy (remember Popeye's burger eating pal? "I'll gladly pay you tomorrow for a burger today")
I've tried almost all the top burgers in midtown Manhattan. IMHO, Burger Joint is the best burger in the neighborhood. It is a cool, casual joint too.For a classier experience...I also think Del Frisco's has got the best burger around. It is mad expensive, but mad good. When I order it, it turns everyone's heads at work when they see it. This is no wimpy burger.
ENJOY!

you were my second favorite character to reference in dragon ball z

I think Burger Joint is too much hype. Shake Shack is better if I'm going to pay good money for burger. 5 Guys over Burger Joint too. And Carnegie John's for a cheap burger.
Just do Tri Tip Grill for their BEEF if you want a decent bite near 30 Rock. Yes, they have burgers too.

I completely agree with @chowsue -- DelFrisco's has, hands down, the best burger out there. Get the prime burger, even though it's $15, because it's huge and delicious and cooked perfectly to your desired doneness. I feel like it will never end when I eat it and talk about it for days afterwards.

Bill's open in two weeks? I doubt it. Peeked in an open door about a week ago, and the dining area was far from being finished.

I had a Bill's burger at the Plaza event a few weeks ago and was underwhelmed. I was also underwhelmed by the Shake Shack burger...I enjoyed eating it in a park with a beer, but other than ambience I wouldn't go out of my way for it again.
Now Del Fricos - that is a burger to remember. -
Burger Bar on 45th and Vanderbilt is OK.

Burger Joint at Le Parker Meridien. A bit out of the way (224 W 56th St), but inexpensive and good.

interested in finding a decent sit down burger near rockefeller center. have tried the point break bar and connelly's previously and came away less than thrilled with both. anyone have any good suggestions for a similar, but better, spot?
