If you're get off at JSQ, there are several Filipino turo-turo spots on Newark Avenue. Don't miss out on going to Red Ribbon and/or the Philippine Bread House

Haven't lived in Jersey City for about 3 years, so my information may be out of date.
I believe Samwich is mistaken about there being a Mahmoun's near Grove St. Ibby's is owned by the same family, as I understand it, and the food tastes pretty much the same as what you get on Macdougal or St. Marks; a fine option if you're in the area, but not worth visiting JC expressly for.
If Fatburger truly is doomed to be replaced by yet another Five Guys soon, then I must make another trip out there before that happens.
White Mana Hamburgers on Route 1/9 at Manhattan Ave is a must-visit, but only if you have a car. It's too inconvenient to try to get there by bus or by foot.

So, I'm going to be in Jersey City tomorrow around lunchtime. Anybody got any good suggestions? Don't mind spending more than $10. Just want something good... maybe even something you can't get in NYC (if that's possible?)
Not in the mood for Indian, but everything else is fair game. Any can't miss spots?
