It is a FACT that Sarge's has the best pastrami in the city. No amount of metal shards or rats will keep me away from their sandwiches.

I ordered lunch from there last week (pastrami on rye). The sandwich was great, but I thought the fries were gross -- soft and soaked in oil and the cake was dry.

My buddy had a pastrami sandwich from Sarge's (on 39th and 3rd) last week - which turned out to have a 1.5 inch piece of metal in it. He has been in the hospital for six days now (this is as of 6/15). I sent this note around my office, and a coworker goes "yeah last time I was there, there was a RAT on my foot".
So just FYI.
