Come on over to NJ. We love our salt.
-
first, MSG.. and now salt? you have to be kidding me.
-
it will never pass. salt isn't bad for you. a shit-ton of it is.
-
If you have heart problems, dont eat out...If you think salt is bad for you, get steamed shit....Dont let everyone else suffer....douche
-
That's ridiculous! They're putting all the restaurants out of business if passed.
Cheese, I rather smuggle in my own salt shaker to the Rests. than head over to NJ. Haha.
-
adding your own salt to certain things just doesnt work.
-
TC, I uninvite you to Delicious Orchards!
-
I'm kinda conflicted on this one - my parents avoid eating in restaurants because of the insane amounts of salt added to food. on the other hand, KC is right - you can't always salt at the end.
they should require them to significantly REDUCE the amounts, although I'm not sure there is any way to monitor that. they do seriously oversalt a LOT.
-
It really doesn't, kc, BUT better than totally bland. Ugh. My point is I rather salt at the end than deal with Jersey restaurants. lol.
I don't recall you formally inviting to that market anyway. Only thing that might entice me is the Grease Trucks...
-
Cheese, I go to Delicicious Orch all the time. Im from the town over.
-
GREASE TRUCKS! Nice, i could use a fat cat.
-
kc, you going to eat 5 and put up a Fat Casey on their menu too? ;P
There's no way that ban can pass. Totally can't f-up the prep-work in restaurants and not expect businesses to suffer.

Hey everyone,
Check out this bill Assemblyman Felix Ortiz(D-Brooklyn) submitted on Friday. It bans the use of salt in the preparation of any food at any restaurant.
Brooklyn Lunchers need to make some phone calls I think. Good luck getting that one passed!
