I've got a dinner reservation to Alma de Cuba set up.

We're headed to Supper later this week and Zahav next week. Last night we hit up 10Arts, it was very "eh" but a nice bonus was for some reason they're only charging $30 not $35...

Enjoy Supper, I have done RW there and was impressed with everything except for the pretzel appetizer.

avoid restaurant week like the plague! the food is never a very good deal and the servers despise you (i know because i was one). find non-participating spots (Foobooz has a guide) and support them instead!
unless of course, as you point out, Supper's in on it. then i'd go there. :D

Had dinner at Zahev Sunday night. The whole menu was restaurant week, nothing else. A ton of food. Each restaurant week portion is enough for two. We left stuff and really satisfied with both the food and the service.

i agree with mattohara, I avoid eating out during the restaurant week. non creative food that's either chicken or salmon, bad service, crowd, the wait...so not worth it.
Most of restaurants have good prix fixe menus anyway. -
I always hear that from folks, but my experiences with restaurant week in both NY and Philly have only been good.

I have to give mad props to Zahav on RW...they did it right! Primarily of course the food was good/solid, certainly something you'll talk about (the duck hearts were a definite winner, flavorful and a wonderful texture). Secondly, the servers/chefs were on their "a" game, service was quick, menu items were explained, and you could talk to the chefs (try and sit by the kitchen windows!) Definitely no one seemed bitter that they were dealing with RW crowds. Thirdly and most impressive to me - they saw RW as a real opportunity to drum up future business, the RW offering is their standard prix-fixe but a few dollars off for RW, the manager stopped by each table and I heard him ask how their RW experience was and invited folks to come back, and a wonderful surprise they gave away "RW thank you gift bags" including a cookie, some spices to use at home and a $10 coupon for a return visit and then a $5 to Percy St BBQ! The one minus is their reservations policy, requiring a credit card # and confirmation 24 hours before dining. All-in definitely one to check out over the next two days if you can get a reservation.

Any idea regarding opening hours of Butcher and Singer? Please suggest I would love to publish them at istorehours.com.

I was in Philly for the long weekend and stumbled on Restaurant Week. Had a great lunch today at Butcher and Singer, where else have folks been going?
