Zach Brooks

It's time for the 2009 Midtown Lunch reader's poll, and we're soliciting for nominees. To nominate your favorite PIZZA in Midtown just post it below. (Just remember it has to be under $10, and be within the ML boundaries.)

Here are last year's results:

@sushiburger: Yes, I like that place. It's not high end like Bella Napoli or too traditional, but it's always good. It's no worse than Ray Bari. But that's just me. It's convenient for me too. Anytime I got to that block I have a choice of Goodburger, Subway, and Prince Pizza.

I think Ray Bari is WAY better pizza than Prince Pizza IMO. They aren't even in the same league of pizzas. A slice of their meat monster easily crushes anything Prince makes. I don't know where that always good is coming from? Prince is horrible in slice quality, lacking in flavorful sauce as you will see me sprinkling heavily on garlic and pepper, and stingy on their cheese (it reminds me of the 99 cents pizza near Grand Central and their cheap slices). Without their $5 two-slices and soda deal (which isn't a great deal with the quality) and super-convenience to my office, I would NEVER set foot in there...I've only been there 3 times and have not gotten the adequate pizza fix I want during work hours from them. In fact, I probably won't go back anymore with the new 99 cents pizza place further down. I rather spend my fiver there than at Prince. Definitely better eating 3 slices of the new 99 cents pizza than 1 slice at Prince. Heck, even 2 slices at the other 99 cents near Grand Central would be a better deal since they have similar slices. And 2 Bros. Pizza beats Prince for sure!
