Lunch with Yvo, and surprisingly we both hate super sweet desserts, which made me feel bad for that brownie/ice cream sandwich we barely touched. It is all about the meat and potatoes after all.

Is that a rant or a rave?
I wish they'd had a custard-style dessert to round out the chocolate and cheesecake offerings. When he said that chocolate cake had the texture of cheesecake, I flinched. Something light and creamy, dude, is where it's at. Panna cotta, tiramisu, creme brulee... what happened to those???

I do love my custard, especially Flan.
