    I guess this applies to Midtowners too...

    I ordered from a Chinatown place my cousin recommended... M Star Cafe. Anyone been? Anyone know if I'm going to be really sad?

    Actually braved the weather and went back to Nu Sushi (my boss was out today!). Got their salmon teriyaki and, like the chicken, it was pretty dry as well. Guess I'll be going back to Niko Niko again, they never let me down when it comes to their food ^^

    Korean from Se Jah Meh. Veggie bibimbop and steamed dumplings.

    Other regular places include Niko Niko, Alfanoose and Hale and Hearty Soup.

    BTW, I wasn't too sad with my choice, though the other people who ordered with me were... probably because they ordered certain dishes that don't really belong on an HK-style-cafe-menu.

    Saikai - I went to Niko Niko last week and it was really horrible, but I think I just ordered the wrong thing (udon)... need to stick to rice balls and stuff. My lunch buddy ordered curry rice though and it was awful too (so he said), so I don't know though. Sorry you didn't like Nu Sushi though - I like what they try to do, but they don't always succeed, I can see.

    famdoc - ahhh I always want to order from Sa Je Meh! Is it good? It seems super expensive.

    Cosi - my coworker happened to walk by and came back with pizza and started telling me about 99c slices and I was all "ooh! I heard about that!" lol

    @Yvo:

    If you stick to the bibimbop, SJM is not expensive.
    Plus, you get about six cups of assorted banchan, including at least two varieties of kimchi. So, in the ML scheme of things, for about $10, you're full and reasonably well-nourished.

    Since learning about Budtharasa/Bunrasa on these pages last week, we've ordered from them three times. Quality remains good, but I have to say they can be careless with their order-taking. Last time, they forgot my thai iced tea (a replacement was brought promptly) and today my order for veggie pad thai (and my co-worker's order for shrimp pad thai) brought lo mein instead of pad thai.

    I was going to order from Bunrasa today but we decided on banh mi instead (for those who KNOW me/follow my blog, it SERIOUSLY wasn't my idea - though I'm NOT complaining - just that I'm moving into soup noodles now!!!)... lol. Good to know that their quality is good for delivery!

    Alright, I'll definitely keep SJM on the burner then. Hmm hmm hmm... Thanks :)
