YUP! It is very good.
Got a bunch of thumbs up from Thai buddies I was with.
No, it isn't the best Thai in NYC. But it is very good.
I like that they have Northern specialties most places don't have.

I work a block away and decided to stop in, had a few different appetizers [dumplings, spring rolls, etc] and all were flavorful and well prepared. For my main lunch entree, I had imitation duck, which was actually pretty awesome, I'm not sure what the mystery meat is, perhaps dark meat chicken? I'm not sure, but I'll definitely be ordering it in the future. Also, the drinks expertly made, and the prices were extremely reasonably [especially considering the proximity to my time sq office. Any negatives? Service is delightful, but a tad bit slow, however the taste of the food makes you forget everything else.

It's a beautiful space and good for a touristy area, but overall I was underwhelmed. Small portions and the balance of flavors (hot, sour, salty, sweet) wasn't there. If anything, the dishes leaned toward sour. The green papaya salad was half lettuce and I felt taken advantage of.
