I don't think it's open just yet. I just walked by and there are a bunch of suits inside looking at the architectural plans. Maybe open for lunch today or later this week?
-
Could be. I've got no lunch plans other than saving money and eating cold cuts today, but I'll swing by and do some lunch-strategic intel gathering.
-
Update: definitely not open yet, sorry folks. It's got some windows nice and clean so you can see inside. They look ready to go any day now.
-
So...are they open yet?
-
forget their sandwiches, do they serve milkshakes?
-
I passed by on Saturday night and saw a handwritten sign they had posted on the window that they will be open _this_ Wednesday.
-
@doodledoot - I saw shakes on the menu from the window, yes.
-
Just saw on someone's FB that they got a free sandwich from the new Potbelly - today & tomorrow only. Email Potbelly for an invitation.
*I don't know if this will work, just passing along info I saw posted on someone's FB. I don't know what the email address is.

It's social@potbelly.com.

Went at 1130 no real line waited 5 min. Not bad reminds me of a quiznos type sandwich....mmm Toasty

I went at 11 and there was a decent line but it moved rather quickly. Had the Wrecking Ball, it was decent but kinda small. Like the fact that they have Zapps chips. Not sure if I'd pay the 9 or so dollars for a sandwich/chips/fountain drink though.

Just a heads-up, the new Potbelly on 7th and 37th has just opened. I saw civilians walking around inside walking to work this AM.
I haven't been but a bunch of my friends are head-over-heels. Me, honestly, I'm so done with sandwiches in general, so I can't say if it's a good or a bad thing.
Is Potbelly really good enough to dissuade the sandwich meh-ist? Or is it just an overrated Panera clone?
