I hope the Popeye's on 40th/7&8 is honoring the deal.

I don't know if I want to wait on long lines during lunch though. Def. worth it if I have the time to wait with everyone else.

  5. ill go check it out on 26th and lex :D

    From last year:

It sounds like people got their chicken at the 40th location. A line of 30-40 is insane though but can't blame the crowds of fried chicken lovers.

Enough with the YouTube! I'm at home and I still don't want to click on YouTube links to get my information! Next time, please, just summarize ... lol

Somebody is cranky. lol. GO EAT SOME FRIED CHICKEN!

I got my box o' chicken at 26th & Lex. Arrived before noon, waited 10 mins on line to place order and waited another 20 mins for my chicken - spicy legs and thighs only. Yes, dark meat preferred!!

The line looked worse as I left with people outside the door and the staff didn't look like they could handle people ordering their 8 pieces. The mgr even had to step up and deep-fry in the back. Oh, no limit at this location. People were ordering 2-3 boxes. And they were nice enough to pick only legs and thighs for me. :)

    just lunch or all day?

It should be all day til they run out of chicken.

20 min wait for the chicken? its not exactly bon chon.

They were swamped with people ahead of me ordering 2-3 boxes and they ran out of noth mild and spicy so I had to wait for them to cook more. I think the wait was closer to 10-15 for mild. I didn't mind waiting because I really like Popeye's spicy and it's a good deal. And I wouldn't willingly wait 20 mins on a line for Bon Chon during lunch. Not worth it.
