Agreed. He's had a rough couple of momths with truck troubles and parking spot troubles, so I can understand his new direction. I'm just going to miss the hell out of his eggplant parm!

Really nice guy, but I must say I didn't love his food the one time I had it, though I would definitely try it again if it were near my office. The calzone I had was meh----and the rice balls were not my thing. a bit bland I thought. I did like his garlic bread though...I wish him the best. He deserves to succeed.

I think that was just a one day thing. He was on the street in the usual spot yesterday and today. I like his chicken parm hero...it's food coma if you finish it, but well cooked and sauced. Agreed on rice balls...not sure what the big deal is, even though it's his featured item.

Saw on Twitter Papa Perrone is teaming up with a bagel store? Looks like he might have decided to stop coming out to 55th street. Hope not though. Would be ashame if Midtown lost him.
