There's another one opening on 7th and 29th-ish, close to Penn Station. The only thing I like there is french onion soup. Everything else is blah. But their french onion soup is delicious.

YES! Panera is awesome, although the NYC pricing is yet to be seen. I predict that it will become at least as popular as Hale and Hearty.

Yeah, 7th between 29th and 30th, I think. I'm fine with Panera, but the place it's replacing (Ginger House) was a huge loss for those of us in the Penn Station wasteland. Not Panera's fault, I guess.

know a lot of the midtown lunch crew is against chain restaurants, but I just walked by some new signage...Panera Bread is hiring for a spot on 5th Ave between 39th and 40th.
