As soon as you can after work? I don't know. I will probably take a half day and get a head start! LOL
If we want an "official" time, we can say 5:30 or 6. 6 is probably good for most people....

I'll be starting early, probably by 3. BTW, I got word that they have made progress in the mess with getting the city permit for their outdoor space resolved. The petition helped!

ARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just found out I have to be out of town on business for the rest of the week. this includes tomorrow afternoon/evening. I am SO PO'd! Is there any way I can contribute a few pitchers still? (I never welch on an offer.) Or, we will HAVE to have another happy hour soon that I can make it to. If people have fun, maybe it could be a biweekly or monthly event? I was actually looking forward to putting faces with names and talking midtown food while drinking lots of cold beer. :^(

There's a website that lets you 'buy your friend a drink' ... not sure if they went under but the concept was interesting, it would text your friend the code and s/he would show it to the bartender. If it'd caught on at more bars, it might have had a good chance...
Or you can leave your credit card info with the place... and trust us to only charge a few pitchers on there... lol.
Haha, I'm just teasing about all of this. I'm sure it'll be so much fun, partially scandalous, and there will be more.
Hmmm, unless I'm counting wrong, the ratio of girls to guys (who have actually said they are going) is something like 1:4.

That sucks StevenP! I will try and make up for your absence by being blackout drunk by 4 pm, so that I am easily distinguishable when I start screaming for food, and screaming out "Midtown Lunch" randomly, as I try not to pass out on a table....

Seriously though, do we have a rough idea of who's going? I fully admit upfront here I ask because I am on the fence and can be swayed either way by who is going to be in attendance. ie, if someone I really want to meet is going, I'll consider it a stronger possibility. :P
