That's funny because I wandered by this truck with my coworkers and we loved the cuban sandwich. Not too filling like other cuban places usually do it. The pork was not salty or dry and the portions were great for lunch. It was 7 dollars well spent and I can't wait to finally have a good cuban spot! The empanada was also a great side snack and I will trust two young cuban brothers to deliver great cuban food everyday. Good job boys!

Woah! SHILLLLLLLL???? I admit, the cuban was ok, but"not too filling" is genrally a NEGATIVE. I've never heard of anyone complaining about a "too filling meal." I'm just sayin'...

They need a bus...

A bus? B/c it's too cramped in there?

Was this the huge truck with the lighted coffee sign sticking out on the side? (I saw this truck there for a few evenings--tried to order a chicken parmesan sub, was told my cheese choices were American and Swiss. I passed!) Goats, gimme a buzz if you're walking by my place again!

They have a website and twitter account if you wanna find their location.

@ Stevenp: Will do! I happened to be down there for work and wound up walking back uptown.....

Weather's getting warmer and there's always cold beer on tap here.... just sayin'

The use of pork plus cheese is not good for health at the same time.. The reason behind it is that we both the nutrition are too hot for the human body..

I had high hopes, but this ropa vieja platter I got is bland, and I know ropa vieja means "old rope" but this is too close in terms of consistency for my liking. I won't be returning. The only part of the dish that was good were the 3 pieces of fried plantain. Even the rice and beans are sub-par.

I was wandering downtown and stumbled upon it. They have platters (chicken pork steak), sandwiches (chicke, pork/cubans, steak etc.) and sides (plantains, rice and other stuff I can't remember). I had the cubano. It was ok for 7 bucks. Kind of like panini style, with a ton of cheese. I would have prefer a bit more pork to cheese, but it was ok. Not terrible, but not mind blowing. However, my friend was not thrilled with his chicken sandwich. He could only taste lime... Anyone else try this?
