I think it's called Bierhaus. Read something brief about it. And it's brand spanking new.

It's a Hofbrauhaus, yes. Urban Daddy did a little piece on it that made it sound douchetastic, but I'd rather visit and see. If it's like the ones in other cities it'll be a pleasant enough place with adequate food and beer.

ny mag has a piece on it on grubstreet. dont have the time to find it right now though sorry. looks pretty legit though.

It'd be tough for me to pass up the Blarney Stone's beer deals and steam table for a beer hall across the street.

Just noticed that new German beer hall that opened up on 3rd Ave right above where the old OTB was goin' home yesterday. Has anyone been there yet? Do they have delicious brats? Is there lunch to be had? Looks like it's from Hofbrauhaus. Should I be drinking there during lunch?
