I'd suggest it, but I've not once thought the food was salty, let alone overly so. Ask for it spicy, it'll wipe out any salty perception.

You're fortunate, Dave. Maybe you just get different dishes than I do. The Friday cilantro chicken special is delicious but invariably over-salted.

Cilantro chicken? I don't believe I've seen that. I almost always order chicken saag, spicy, which is assembled in the back. I can't remember the last time I chose the food in the bins.
We're both talking about the one on 46th, right?

Yes, the cilantro chicken is great (albeit a little salty) Fridays.

Generally I haven't found Minar to be overly salty for my taste, but I agree 100% on the chicken cilantro. I read lots of good reviews about it and when I ordered it for myself it was way over-salted.

What's your favorite, Brownie?

never had the cilantro chicken, maybe it's unique to that dish.

Does anyone else think that they're a little heavy-handed with the salt at Minar? I love their food but just wish they'd go easy.
Does anyone know them well enough to suggest it?
