Meet Up Group? AND a poll type question! All in one post

I think Mamacita already handles the meetup's, so I'm told, though I haven't heard of any ML meetup's (so maybe I'm just not invited).

If there are any meetups, there should probably be different meetup groups or something. Along the lines of:
Happy Hour Meetups
Weekend Meetups
Dim Sum Meetups
Sushi Meetups
Burger Meetups
BBQ Meetups
Street Cart Meetupsetc etc etc. For example, I'd really only be interested in happy hour meetups since my weekend's are busy doing domestic family stuff. Also I don't eat sushi so wouldn't be intereseted in one of those.
All that aside, why even use meetup.com? Create a "meetup" topic, and update it whenever a new meetup for that type is being planned. It seemed to work well for the astoria dimsum folks.

I was thinking.... We should do a Meet Up group, http://www.meetup.com, besides the forum, so peeps can get emailed and stuff and have a one weekend a month or something get together? I saw Yvo trolling Mamacita for an invite to the bar, I know I have selfish reasons for wanting this (See Below)... So thoughts on this?
My second question is restaurants that we could meet at that are meant for a Group to be Sharing at! My suggestion---
1. DIM SUM--- My thoughts are clear--- More people, more dishes, more fun! Plus, my wife refuses to eat chicken feet and I really want to eat them again. I have only tried them once.
There must be more!
