Haha! Maui Tacos is one the worst taco places in Hawaii. Though we all know that chains differ from state to state. So I'm sure it's better here.
They do have the best radio commercials in Hawaii: "When I say Maui! You say Taco!"

I've worked by there for years---I used to go there to meet friends, where we'd all bring food from any place but maui taco. I ate it once. 8 yrs ago or so. I didn't like it, but i have no recollection of what I had---i think some tacos or something. maybe nachos. I remember saying never again...

I've walked by there many times and always thought about checking it out. Never looked at the menu too closely, though. Just the thought of Hawai'i + tacos was appealing. Glad I passed, I guess.

how were their fish tacos? haven't found a place in NYC that can compare to what I got in CA

anyone ever been?...its a cool spot...on 33rd and 5th i went for dinner so not sure how crowded it can be during lunch but its more expensive then taco bell and cheaper then chipotle...they have decent food too i tried teh fish tacos and since it was my first time trying it..had nothing to compare it too but i liked it..
we had..beef nachos...quesadillas...2 soft tacos (beef and fish)and 2 sodas and our bill was 21*...not bad for that amount of food...i dont work in this area but whoever does should give it a shot.
also they have a bar...
