Cafe Doppio has lots of different soups, and it's right next to a Hale and Hearty. H&H soups are a little salty for my tastes, but a lot of people seem to like it. Haven't tried Doppio yet. Hanover Cafe has Korean soups along with some Udon and Ramen.

Btw, Cafe Doppio and H&H are on the Beaver St. side of 55 Broad.

I like Doppio's soups, but avoid their ick sandwiches. Salad with soup isn't a bad meal.

Help, I'm marooned downtown for a few weeks at a client near Liberty Plaza. I've already got the lay of the land with the street meat/falafel but am need a place to go for soup. Any help? Chinese, korean or good old fashioned "american" soup will do.
