Just a warning if you're trying to go on the weekend, on Saturday Asia Dog and Calexico weren't open until after 12. It was really annoying.
-
i tried eataly's fried ribs and fried chick peas... ribs had a good flavor and chick peas were really spicey. both pretty good but i paid so much. everything is ridiculously priced and nothing jumps out as fun or tastey like when the wafles and dinges spot used to be there. pretzels are okay but not for lunch, had them last time.
i just find myself uninterested by the options this year
and as the person that posted this to begin with, it upsets me a little

the ribs from Eataly were great. the portion was well worth the $10.

I eagerly await dinner of ribs and pizza at Madison Market! Pretzels and cannolis for dessert! I'm bring 50 bucks! I imagine I will come out with nothing but tears....and empty pockets.

Goats- get the Bee Sting at Roberta's

I am! You sold me!

I had the ribs from Eataly last night. Though it's not bargain, the 4 ribs are a nice size with ample seasoning. It's worth the one try at least.

I hit the ribs from eataly (good, but not quite my cup of tea--i prefer them smoked to salted), lamb shwarma and fries at illilli (lamb was good, but it was a small shwarma, fries were good as well but the mayo sauce was a bit much), Goat town ice cream (salted caramel, awesome) and cookies from momofuku. I would have had pizza too but it was sold out when I got there. I have to admit, I didn't feel nearly as ripped off as I planned. I was quite full when I left. I love having an outdoor food court around the corner!

Had the fried fish n' potato from Eataly. Super-delicious. Possibly even worth the $10 price tag. Definitely heading back to try to ribs.
I don't usually eat cannolis and have no idea how much they are supposed to cost or whether these "artisanal" ones are anything special, but these were good and for $5 you get a quantity that you really should not be eating in one sitting.

I agree Dan L---3 cannolis for 5 bucks doesn't seem too bad. They are tasty! I am scoring 6 tonight and 3 pretzels for the weekend.

My fav of the night was the Roberta's pizza after trying the bee sting and later eating a specken wolf. much better than i had at keste IMO.
fried ribs from eataly, asia dogs (mel&steve and sidney thai), and sigmund pretzels (truffle cheddar and jalapeno cheddar) were all just otay for me.
Cannolis were decent. I enjoyed the pistachio one. P&H soda was quite refreshing (lime+grapefruit). NuNu's frozen hot chocolate was aight.
