Little Morocco Update

Kopper

OK, so I stopped by the generic cart this morning in LM's spot to see what was up. There were 2 men at the generic cart, and when I asked about LM, one of them said "Oh yes, that's my cart."

I knew the daytime operator we all know did not own the cart but I had never met the owner (short guy with a moustache). I asked if everything was OK and mentioned someone having seen an ambulance on its last day. He said that he just needed to refit the cart for DOH inspections and that it would be back on the street in 2-3 weeks.

When I asked again if everyone was OK, wondering about the ambulance, he waved off any concern and said all would be well sometime in the 2nd or 3rd week of September. I am still a bit skeptical, but less so than yesterday.

Little Morocco rocked so hard they killed a man.

  2. I saw them back when I was in the area on Saturday, but didn't get to swing by. Was there today for lunch (falafel & rice) - same rice, same flavors... except for the sauces. The white sauce was... sweet, maybe? It tasted off. And the hot sauce didn't seem as hot as before.

  3. The truck has been back for about a week now, but there was a different guy working lunch. My buddy went this morning and it was still that guy, but I just got back and it was the regular lunch guy. I talked to him for a bit and apparently he was on vacation or something. The food is back up to par and he threw in some extra stuff on my chicken and rice platter (fries, beans, extra cilantro, some falafel...). Good times.

Fantastic news! All is right with the world again. I'll definitely be eating there this week.
