Love Tory and Hagi. I'll definitely be covering izakayas.
@Samwich, Thanks for the tip on 5 Star. I don't know Queens at all and need as much advice on what's there as I can get.
What about Hell's Kitchen/Midtown NW? I haven't frequented anything up there since I worked in Times Square 5 years ago. Any 9th Ave spots worth checking out?

@ Ultraclay...if you take Queensboro bridge to Queens and instead of going left towards Queens BLVD...stay right towards 23rd street (i think)...when you get to teh light you will see a sign that says diner...its right next to that...pretty good indian food.(its a restaurant) never been dissapointed and open til about 4am i think on weekends.

Thanks, is there a subway station near there?

no idea...i usually drive...i otherwise dont really know that area at all..

I have checked out Great Burrito (23rd & 6th, SW corner) on my way home after a night out. This place has great authentic Mexican--tortas are great, as are the huaraches and tacos. GB is open 24/7 and is the real deal. Plus tongue is an option. Chipotle and Qdoba generic-chain Mex makes me retch.

be careful with the kati rolls. if there is a long wait, and there usually is, wait outside because the smell will stick to you forEVER

@deanlo: haha! Thanks for the warning.
@stevenp: I've been to that place a while ago and really liked it. Haven't been there in a while, I should check it out for lunch soon.

Hi folks,
I do a column on Examiner about NY Nightlife. I want to start covering some of the late night eats around NYC.
I was thinking tacos and shwarmas and skewers and hot dogs and, wait, that all sounds familiar, right? The same greasy goodness that makes for a good lunch is even better after several drinks.
So, who better to consult than MLers?
Where do you like to eat at 2am? It can be in midtown or elsewhere around NY. I'll be checking comments here and on the late night eats page.
Can't wait to hear from you.
Thanks
