I tried the jjajangmyeon today. The sauce was great, but they used green tea soba for the noodles which I was luke-warm on. I wanted to get a side of somethin' lighter, but they were sold out of kimchi, kimbap and pretty much everything else!

ahh, i cant pronounce any of that! :)

Thanks.. good to know. I'll definitely try it this week. How does it compare to the likes of ho dong gak or shanghai mong?
Although, I have to say, if they dont' give me some dak gwang or kimchi with it.. it's going to dampen the experience..

not as good as either (I like shanghai mong's the best out of the 3), but not bad for a street cart. It had nice big chunks of veggies in it, which makes it seem homemade.
I can't keep going back there... i'm running out of excuses to tell my co-workers why I can't go to Cafe Metro or Pax with them. heh

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH, I'm blinded by the neon green noodles!
And the veggie chunks are huge. Needs more meat IMO.

So I went here for the first time today and got the chicken soba.. it wasn't my first choice and initially went to get some ddeokbokki & gimbab (dipping the gimbab into the ddeokbokki sauce is just amazing..) but seeing that they ran out of ddeokbokki, i decided to go with the chicken soba. It was actually better than I expected.
I really am posting though to ask how everything else is... I'm most curious about the ddeokbokki and gimbab... (reminds me of the pojang machas in Korea) and the jja jang myun & jjamppong.. if anyone's tried it, plz let me know!
