might have to take a half day to do that.
-
Have you ever eaten here?
-
I went to a work party there, but it was just apps.
I can't imagine the entrees to be anything special, but could be worth trying.
-
yeah like a friday's type of place...that's what i assumed...but, top shelf martini's? three? that just doesnt exist.
-
i've had apps there.. not bad, but not the best i've had. but 3 top shelf martinis? no way i'd be able to stay on the bull after that....
-
Ugh. They're right next door to work. Once they started sending out the cow furry and the girl to offer passersby "free beer!" I gave up ever stepping foot inside.
-
This would be great right before MLHH! I'm definitely up for it!
-
3 martinis before HH, excessive no?
-
Of course it is!

I work in Rock center and always assumed this place was a tourist trap, but went here after work one thursday for happy hour and was amazed at how cheap it is. From 4-10 they have $3 bud light/coors light drafts and $2 rolling rock cans. This is pretty much the only place in Midtown where you can get a good buzz for 20 bucks.
-
rob99, that's incorrect. Check out mamacita's happyhour list and you'll find plenty of places in midtown where you can get more than a good buzz for $20. I was tempted to mention my usual spot but it's tiny and overcrowded as it is (not to mention easy to figure out).

I want a $2 Rolling rock can. Even JC doesn't sell those....
-
it IS a tourist trap

Power Lunch: 3-Martini Lunch at Johnny Utah's
Available M-F 'til Labor Day: 25 W 51st St, btw 5th and 6th Ave; Midtown West; 212.265.8824
Hit the Rock Center rodeo kings for an employment-defying off-the-menu Thrillist lunch special, where $50'll get you three top shelf martinis (your choice of liquor), a "Saddle Up" Caesar w/ chicken tenderloin & herb croutons, and a creamed spinach- and mashed potato-sided Kansas City strip, which considering you've had three martinis may end up dancing on your lap.
