Yvo, have you tried baking with other ladies too? You probably have? And still didn't happen?

Stout near 34th Street? Yea it's a big place... very pubby feel to it.

Nope I don't like being in the kitchen with other people. I mostly watch or sous chef if I have to be in someone else's kitchen. I let my sister do the baking.

  5. i have been to stout, its fun. lots of choices, tons of birthdays all the time. it can get super crowded in the front though, so head to the back. tons of craft beer and only a few nyu students.

    Damn slow friday. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

It's cool. No baking but solid cooking is always a plus.

Depends on the question... my boyfriend loves baked goods so I fail a bit on that front.

Office is strangely empty today - I think everyone is home sick or something. Tempted to leave early or go for a liquid lunch.

  9. i think its the rain...it is boring, slow and cold out. i want baked goods.

I baked some very tasty cupcakes a few days ago. Added a bunch of Mariebelle chocolate (spiced) to the batter just because. And they came out better than 3/4 of the cupcakes I've had at the "trendy" cupcake places. Good frosting is easy to make too. And they cost about $5 -- for a batch of 24!! (The rip-off that is NYC cupcake shops and trucks really annoys me. Seriously, mine were much tastier with better texture than the handful I've bought in the past several months.)

My sentiments exactly stevenp!! Good cupcakes aren't hard to come by. But other desserts, even full cakes, are a little trickier.

    Mmmm baked goods.
Still, the worst case is if the woman doesn't cook at all and expects to eat out all the time or only the guy cooks...

  14. Yvo

Hmm... why is that the worst case? If only the guy cooks?
