7/11 is almost around the corner. Free 7.11 ounce Slurpee!
Sorry, not helpful, but I couldn't resist.
-
you can get a crystal light slurpee! no syrup!
-
KC, is that any good though? Wait, now that I'm thinking about it....how is crystal light made into a Slurpee? Is it homemade or something?
-
emme, you can throw a 2liter of coke in the freezer, and then when you pull it out, wait for the syrup to settle to the bottom and eat the top 2/3rds.
-
crystal light, ice...i guess?
-
Crystal Light? Ew. Ok, maybe not disgusting but sounds pretty gross. I think what I want is more italian ice style, something with "real fruit". And something I prob can't find in midtown...
Deanlo, that sounds good but, er, people at work might look at me crazily for doing that.
-
it tastes exactly like a slurpee, just less sugary...7-11 does make and sell them.

i hear auntie anne's has slushies tho i've never had. i know...doesn't sound very appealing, but i've been on a slushie search for some time and other than certain Mr Softees & Auntie Anne's, i cant find anything. btw, i love those blue slurpies from 7-11.

"when you pull it out, wait for the syrup to settle to the bottom and eat the top 2/3rds. "
I was going to say TWSS, but who would say that?
-
@sir: no one here.

Has the Kelvin Slush truck started yet?

Ooooh, a slush truck, now that's what I'm taking about. They still seem to be MIA but I will keep my eye on them, thanks hightemp.
Seems like Auntie Annie's does have some weird lemonade mixer things. Also, I forget Dunkin has Coolattas too. Might have to succumb to the call of cherry coke Slurpee tonight though, since that random italian ice truck that popped up in BPark early summer hasn't returned.

the slush at Aunti Annies will probably not be made of real fruit...
Someone should start offering slush puppies

This weather has given me a craving for a giant bucket of something icy and fruity. Does this exist around midtown (Broadway & 39th to be specific)? Maybe something not quite as syrupy sweet as a slurpee from 7-11, but just as gigantic in scale. Er & no smoothies, thanks.
