I wish they served it from a Cart in Midtown wish list...

Well, my comment on the 100% Halal cart write up made me think... What would I like to see from a cart in Mid-Town that we don't have... For me:

1. Balut
2. A Chicken Satay/Beef Satay Pad Thai cart

Steamed sweet potato carts like the ones from Japan or takoyaki! yum. Brings back memories.

I'd also like to see a filipino cart. Haha.
Who wouldn't want some chicken adobo, pancit canton, and lumpia shanghai? :P

I've given this some further thought. I think we really need a Tunisian lablabi breakfast cart.

major bump! (I didn't want to start another thread.)

Corn Dog Cart (because seriously, wtf NY.)
BLT Cart (Not 'Go Burger.' I just like bacon.)
    Bourbon Chicken Cart. (Please?)

Yes I realize that I've obnoxiously ended every line with a parenthetical digression. (I hit my head and temporarily became a Yelper.)

A choripan (argentinean chorizo sandwich with chimichurri) cart.

    whoa to the major bump.

another fried chicken cart (yea, there's the halal one on 55th) would be great in Midtown
might as well have a korean fried chicken cart too.

and seriously could go for a chinese cheap-eats cart...that served fried chicken legs and lo mein. :P

I am so happy to see this with SUCH a major bump. I stand by Balut and a Satay type cart. I also wish there was an Israeli style schwarma cart on the UES.

My friends looked into starting a Chinatown style cart in Midtown. They thought they would make a killing. But getting a license is next to impossible.

    Cupcake cart? J/k.

I want baguette sandwiches sold on the street.

Only good thing about France in my opinion.
