How Many Days In A Row Could You Eat Street Meat?

MWinston

I just read an article on a blog I follow regularly and thought you guys would get a kick out of the article as well. The question posed is "How Many Days In A Row Could You Eat Street Meat?" ... but dirty water dogs (and a Double Down) get throw in too.

Any MLer should be able to eat street meats for a month straight or longer.

Just not worth it though when it's costly to your precious health.

I would do it if it was all expensed paid. Throw in the lipo too. HAHA.

Streetmeas----if you want to try, I will pay!!!!!!!!!!!! I will NOT, however, pay for any lipo or Dr bills, but I will give an extra 100 bucks to cover any premiums LOL I know you and know you have integrity so I would just give you the cash up front....

No thanks, Goats. This is the kinda challenge that would permanently damage a person's health. No way that Super-Size Me guy is any healthier. I definitely don't want to GAIN more weight this year. Hard enough to maintain a decent weight during the winter.

If you want to do it though, for like a month or two, we wouldn't stop you though. Just get LOTS of sponsors first and any doctor-friends to check on your vitals. lol.

No way! I am not doing this one. I will do single quantity challneges, but i'm not going to purposefully eat st. meat 20 times or more in a month. That's just wrong... I guess this is where even I must draw the line.

And for the record, I think I'd be comfortable doing it for 3 days straight. At most 5. After, assuming weekends count, I'd probably begin to resent street meat very much and openly wretch from the mere smell. It's happened before....

Again, anyone COULD do it for a long period of time especially if free lunch and/or compensated to do it but totally ain't worth it.

I would do it for a week max but totally be killing any decent eating habits I have left, which would suck ass. Not worth it to be a garbage disposal for too long.

Piece of cake. If I mix in Kwik Meal alongside a lot of Halal Guys to sort of cleanse the system once in a while, a month would be simple.

And then never eat halal again.

It's like food-ebola. It will wreck your insides and turn them to liquid.

    I've said too much.

I don't see what the big deal is, I don't think I would have a problem. It is only lunch, you could make up for it with healthier breakfast and dinner.

For Lunch? I did it for about 4 days in a row @ Rafiqi's before my body starting hating me. Terrible headaches (from eating too much greasy food) and bad bowels.

I can probably eat Uncle Gussy's 2 weeks straight easily because it seems healthier overall. White sauce is yogurt-based instead of mayo. Meats are lean and grilled. Squirt of lemon on the souvlaki to help with palate fatigue and to 'cut the fattiness.'

@dbug42 you try to compensate for it with other meals but it doesn't cancel out the calories, which has been estimated to be around 2100cal per platter.

Considering Chipotle will bend you over for ~1100 per burrito, or a large Triple Whopper Combo at 2060, it doesn't feel too far off from the truth.

Good point, which cart you eat from makes a big difference. I'm by Mister Khan, who has vegetables in his combo to keep your colon happy, and Kwik Meal, which is downright wholesome. I've eaten from them and Biryani cart 4 out of 5 days without an issue. I've never had Rafiqi's, doesn't sound good.

And regarding the calories, I didn't see anything that said he had to finish the whole platter (though I usually do).

dbug: I'm a Khan-er too. Did you notice their hot sauce change a bit for the worse recently?

True. I guess I'm compelled to finish it because leftovers would stink up the office and I wouldn't want to throw it out.

I just read the article and apparently the guy is supposed to do it for a month as a 'challenge.' But it's not limited to just halal carts so it would be easier than what we're thinking of.
