How come there is no Chinese cart?

mkim1206

Can you imagine if there was a cart in midtown that sells different kinds of Chinese noodles and dumplings and dimsum sort of stuff like they do in Chinatown?

That would be great. Too bad most of them are long gone or banned in chinatown. Was it because of permits or something along the lines of unsanitary conditions?
They used to be all over chinatown. The fried noodles/rice with fried chicken legs. Then the other ones with fish balls, squid and tripe. Cheap too! Probably crazy dirty but CHEAP!

Yea, like 1 or 2 scattered and not noticeable. There were like armies of them before though.

They are more spread out now. I was in Chinatown yesterday for lunch and found a couple "new" ones in places I didn't see before.
