How come there is no Chinese cart?

That would be great. Too bad most of them are long gone or banned in chinatown. Was it because of permits or something along the lines of unsanitary conditions?
They used to be all over chinatown. The fried noodles/rice with fried chicken legs. Then the other ones with fish balls, squid and tripe. Cheap too! Probably crazy dirty but CHEAP! -

Yea, like 1 or 2 scattered and not noticeable. There were like armies of them before though.

They are more spread out now. I was in Chinatown yesterday for lunch and found a couple "new" ones in places I didn't see before.

I think I need to check out chinatown again soon then. It's been a few weeks since I've been. At least gotta get me some banh mi at Saigon. *drools*

talk up the guys at 8th ave. maybe they'll move to midtown. $1 fried chicken legs are the shizz

oops should clarify that i was referring to 8th ave in brooklyn. right outside the N train stop :)

Can you imagine if there was a cart in midtown that sells different kinds of Chinese noodles and dumplings and dimsum sort of stuff like they do in Chinatown?
