i think alot of people order gazpacho soup...that's the only cold dish i can think of.
For dinner, I eat those packaged instant cold naengmyun almost every night. -
I have a uber powerful A/C unit for my room...where as of now I am (Working from home rocks). Since I am in JC for lunch....I guess Indian/Pakistani would be the route...
As for your question Chris, summer rolls? Or a tomato mozzarella salad with balsamic and olive oil?
-
Burger and fries with Mr. Softee and Freezer pops for dessert!
-
slushy. jjol myun. fruit. nothing. save the energy.
-
Goats- soon to be Miss Softee! hopefully....
-
Lobster roll!
-
I'm going with the mool naeng myun or bun thit nuong. And Vietnamese iced coffee.
-
omg. jjol myun! YUM! salads.
-
Iced coffee to wash down any meal.
But I'm cwazzy enough to eat congee and fried foods in scorching weather. -
Does shaved ice count as food?
-
Vietnamese bun... mmm
I know I eat in the summer, but the past few hours of being so uncomfortable in this weather, I have not wanted to eat a damn thing. So I'll say "nothing" :( like MM
-
MIF, i was just thinking that. i'd eat a giant ABC or Halo Halo for lunch.
-
Banh mi and Vietnamese iced coffee. Schlepped down to Ctown and got one from Sau Voi today.

I'm sitting here, basting in my own sweat, thanks in part to our building's woefully underpowered A/C. I'd like to bitch about the weather and global warming, but lunch hour is nigh.
ML'ers, what's your favorite food to beat the heat? I'm thinking a bowl of cold naengmyeon, but i'd like to hear what others eat when it's hot outside.
