I actually walked in there once on my way to El Sabroso, but the food didn't look all that tempting

Anyone else with a comment on this place?

I think I've been there. Is it very very narrow. As you step in on your left is the counter with stools and then the stove tops. Bowls of salsa on the counter to add to your food? There's the front door and then a side door to your right further back where the dock connects to it?
If this is the place, then yes I thought it was good. I think I had pernil with rice/beans and salsa and it was CHEAP! But that was about 3 years ago.

Mamacita,
It was on the narrow side, but everything is to the right when you walk in. There is a high bench with some stools and a small area to sit just past that. The food and ordering is all just past that (maybe large enough for 3 people to stand in front of it) with a micro-sized steamtable and a cooler.

Shoot, I guess I'm thinking of another one. some might think it's gross, but I think it's awesome that we have these weird loading dock ethnic food counters. I need to find where the one I'm thinking of is located! :-)

I was walking with a friend today on 37th st between 8th and 9th and spotted a loading dock with a very tiny lunch counter in it. At first I thought it was El Sabroso but when I came back here to check, sure enough its a different place.
We werent in the mood for latin food so we kept going but it smelled amazing.
