my free donut (boston creme!) from dunkin donuts!

Alfanoose... "best falafel in the city" - not sure I agree.
-
chicken vindaloo from brick lane house curry

8 pm....why don't kids(especially twin girls) never eat pizza crusts?
Watching Harry Potter and the Order of the Fries.
This Chiantti clissico...total waste on pizza.
I recon Harry should dump Ginny for Hermione.
-
What...? Dare you suggest destroying the bromance between Harry and the Weasley kid?
I don't think that is in Harry's future. J.K. Rowling has forged a character that is destined to eternally suffer from both inner and outer demons, all the while aspiring to a higher calling, thus undermining his ability to maintain a traditional relationship with a woman.
This doesn't mean that Harry can't take Hermione beyond the courtyard at Hogwarts and show her his magic wand underneath a moonlit sky one night, however.
Havin' Chex Mix and a chilled green tea over here...

Fried oyster po-boy, cole slaw, and house made red sangria.... there might be a shot of whiskey and a soda back in my near future, as I have a relatives visiting and they have already been sleeping in my small apartment for over 6 days. :-(

8:30 pm cold cuts of welsh mountain cattle fillet, piccalily, Gherkins (pickles to you U droppers)....and for some strange reason a glass of guinness.
t'be sure.

A Melissa Munchie from Johny's: hot roast beef, sauteed mushrooms, mozzarella and onion rings on garlic bread. mmmmm....

Overpriced, tiny and bland steak and potato wrap from Yankee stadium premium dining service for 12 bucks. At least the overpriced ten dollar 24 oz draft beers were cold and refreshing enough to wash the taste of it away. Should have just stuck with a slice of pizza or dirty water dogs from outside the stadium.
-
Why are you at the stadium at 12:15 on a day when not only are the Yankees not playing till 7... they're playing in BOSTON?
Just, y'know, curious. -
YVO, my bad, wanted to send this from my buddy's netbook when we were at the game. I should have prefaced it this "Last night . . ."
Maybe I shouldn't have bothered but I wanted to get the word out to anyone to save their 12 bucks and spend it on overpriced stadium beer!

I just ate a horrible slice of Sicilian pizza. I've decided to marry stevenp so that I never have to cook or fend for myself again.

El Dubya El - sorry for being so nitpicky, I was sincerely curious because I'd read somewhere that some Yankee Stadium dining options would be open during off-days but wasn't sure why or who would go there ... I'll be at Yankee Stadium on Sunday for the first time (all decked out in Mets gear, yessir) and plan on trying the garlic fries and pretty much all the food I can grab in my greedy lil hands without my friends & boyfriend stopping me!
Just had a bowl of Lanzhou Hand Pulled Noodles and a plate of dumplings (I didn't eat the whole plate). Super thirsty now, wondering how much MSG they put in the soup, eesh.

YVO, apparently the Hard Rock Cafe and I think the NYY Steakhouse are open all year round, even when Yanks are on the road, so yes you did hear that correctly.
I hope you, your BF and friends enjoy the game on Sunday. I'd like to see you post what you thought of the food there and how it compares to Citifields (if you've been there yet). Actually that might be a new forum thread to start.
I've been to four games this year and I've enjoyed most everything there (b/c I'm a fat man) but here's a few things I would avoid.
Either the steak and potato wrap or the chicken caesar wrap, they are barely larger than a take out place egg roll, NOT worth 12 bucks.
The 16 oz. plastic bottles of cheap domestic beers for nine bucks, get the souvenir cup of draft beers as you get almost 8oz.more for only a dollar more. The tap systems at the new stadium are way better than the old ones, beer comes out nicely carbonated and cold, unlike the luke warm and flat ones I've paid for in the past.
Boar's Head deli sandwiches, while they're not bad, the sandwiches from Mike's Arthur Ave. deli are way tastier, I think the two stands are relatively close to each other at the first level food court area.
If the line at Carl's cheesesteaks is relatively short go for it, but if it's over ten people deep, avoid, they're not that good to miss half an inning.
Get a Nathan's or Sabrett's from one of the vendor stalls where it comes right off the grill. While I personally have not noticed this I was told that vendors selling Nathan's who come up to your seat, sell prewrapped already prepared dogs which to me can get a little "gamey." The old stadium used to have them serving dirty water dogs fresh from the steamer but not anymore.
The fresh fruit stand, who the heck wants fresh fruit at a ball game?
