Trying to get a free meal? What are you doing at H&H anyway?
-
also a heads up. Hale & Hearty sucks
-
A contrarian heads up...I freaking love Hale and Hearty, but it's just too freaking expensive. If it were 50% cheaper (approximately what it's worth), it would be the best lunch spot in the city. Their soups are fantastic.

^ This. Good soup, but far, far too expensive for what you get. Plus, naturally, most of us could make better soup at home and bring it to work, saving us money!
-
there are soups there i enjoy..usually the cream based ones.
-
I have a phobia of cream based soups.

I have a phobia of your phobia.

I can't bring myself to try it. I just can't.
-
I love their soups. But def not the cream based ones!
-
Dave,
I doubt that everyone can make soups better then H&H. Price aside, the soups are good. -
they are...agreed.

@Greyrabbit: My point was that most people *could* make a soup nearly as good for far less cost, which would be a win -- it's lunch, and at H&H, so I'm not expecting three stars in the first place. Myself, and some of the people here, could make a soup exceeding H&H at a fraction of the price.
Then I'd have a jar of pennies saved from not buying lunch every day!

Just a heads up, don't get the cream of broccoli today...there's tape in it.
