HA!
-
near penn? go to tir na nog?
-
You gave zilch for info...are they from a conservative state, or would they like something crazy in K-Town?
-
@CheeeeEEEEse - sorry for my lack of info, you grumpy bastard.
They're fairly adventurous eaters, world travelers, but my grandfather (as I noted in the tags, cheekily) has something against Korean, Japanese, Thai food, etc. that I have never been able to pinpoint the reason for.
-
go to artisanal.
-
*bows* Your grumpiness at your service.
Could go with Ipanema...a certain ML luncher's favorite.
-
Keens Steakhouse. It'll be a throwback to some better days of pin up girls and martini lunches. Was he in a world war or a tiger cage at one point in his life?
-
burger king, they are running dangerously low on their supply of "ribs." get them before they are gone!
-
I would recommend Casellula on 52nd between 9th and 10th. Its tiny, so go a little early (I'd go ahead and head there as soon as your Grandparents get in), but it is AMAZING.
-
Whoa - Keens looks like I could easily spend five hours there, drowning in gin and meat. Who can I get to pay for this?
-
I'm pretty sure Bourdain went to Keens for something....I thought it was customary to have bourbon there.
-
I would classify myself as 'equal opportunity' in that department.

Guys - I need help.
My grandparents are in visiting from the desert state that brought you Shivery McPickles. They've been in DC visiting my aunt for the week and are getting back tonight, by train, around 7. They stay with another aunt of mine who lives on the upper west side, but want to get to together with the Pickles and her man-slice before they head back up.
Where in god's name should I take my grandparents tonight?
