I'm starting a new job next week and finally move into MTL territory...any suggestions of best places around Lex & 41st would be appreciated!

Privetti, That Famous Chicken Place, Five Guys, Blarney Stone, Melange, Quick Delight, 45th St is full of places, and . . . http://midtownlunch.com/restaurant-map/

Welcome to the neighborhood. BTW Sbarro's is the best pizza ever.

A few blocks north and you've got Oms/B, Joy Curry, Menchanko Tei, etc. Lotsa good lunch options in the mid 40's around Lex and 3rd.

DONT go to the 99ent pizza joint. it's pure $hit. its worse than something you would find in a nj mall.

I have to agree with KC. The 99c pizzas are not worth it. 2 Bros elsewhere if you must. After 2pm, Naples 45 has slices at 1.91 each.

Menchanko Tei fo' sure and Five Guys for burger and fries.

Crisp is a worthy falafel option.

I'm big on Naya express. Beware the garlic whip. She be a moody temptress.

  8. I'll add Onya on 47th between 3rd and Lex for homemade udon noodles

Also, the new 99cent pizza shop that opened on 44th and 3rd is better than any of the others that I've tried in the area. It's still crappy pizza, it's just slightly better than the other crappy pizza. If I leave work really late and need to eat something before I get home, I'll grab a quick slice there.

Oriental Noodle Shop for Roast Pork Udon on 44th and Lex.

  10. Onya rocks. Love the food, hate the location. I travel there once a week from K-town. Zaiya is also great.

Get my chinese fix from Hop Won on 45th b/t lex and 3rd

Why do people like Onya? Ive been there twice and i was disappointed both times..am i missing something here? or do people just like the menu with the word, bukake or something like that.

  13. - Both 99c pizza places are good for what they are. It's not "good" pizza, but it's a good cheap lunch option.

Kwik Gourmet, Magda's Steak Truck, El Sabor Del Ray
