Since the Gobuki opened, I keep ordering foods for my lunch there. Its located right in the front of the building that I worked, they have good location with public seating spots around. My favorite foods are:
-Bulkoki Sandwich with spicy sauce(Marinated Beef)
-Kalbi Rice (Marinated beef, Salad, Rice with selection of sauce if you like xtra spicy)
-Sauteed Udon (Sauteed Noodles with special sauce)

The staffs are very friendly, attentive, and they assisting what I need. For price range $6-$8, you get get pretty decent amount of food and authentic Korean taste. I told my co-workers and they gave a good reviews also. Nothing much to say, but I love this food!

nothing like shameless shilling to make me NOT want to try something. way to go.

Ok, seeing all the positive comments, I tried the bulgogi sandwich, which looked to have as much (if not more) meat as the kalbi rice thing I tried last time. It was also grilled a bit longer and thus still reasonably hot when I ate it. It was pretty good, and I will get this once in a while. The dumplings, which come in an order of 5, were meh...fried, thin wrapper, but soggy, probably due to overly wet/oily filling. The filling is ok, and I had them top it off with some hot sauce, but overall, not a good deal for $4. Next I will try the fried udon. The soup will be great when the temperature drops a bit more.

This shit is ridiculous. The thread was started by a shill (jojo17) who created three more fake accounts to shill it some more (Lavi5h, Kungfupanda, clientele).

Pro-tip: If you're the owner and want people to know you've changed things, just tell them. Don't create a bunch of obviously fake reviews.

  5. Pro-tip: DO go posting fake reviews on ML forums (that no one reads), because it may lead to an actual positive review on the ML blog (which many people do read).

    Well Fellas!!
I am not a shill. And recently I saw Gobuki because their location is right on the building that I worked. I liked the food and just wanted to give positive about review. Don't prejudice because everyone have different taste.

  7. Dear Tom:
I DON'T KNOW you and I DON'T KNOW who is the owner of GOBUKI. And honestly, after I read your post like that, I think you are someone who has LOTS of time doing SHIT, and VERY lonely, which can mind your own business but not mine.
I just posted A nice review to small street vendor cart which I found when I was looking for Bapcha; and it just happened I like their food more than I like Bapcha (I came there almost everyday). SO, please get to work or simply look for a new job, because obviously you don't have enough important thing to do.

    Dear Dan:
I didn't post any fake review. I really like the food there.

Yes, of course you are not a shill clientele (or jojo17 or Lavi5h). Cause lots of people register for a website just to rave about on some delicious new food they came across. Even more feel obligated to write the name of the cart in CAPITAL LETTERS.

  9. ceh

Don't know if they're shills or not, but FYI, the name is spelled out in large caps on the cart itself, so I wouldn't get too excited about that.

Although much of the hype on his may or may not have been started by Shills, I know @ceh is a regular. That said, the cart is right outside my building so I tried it today and was very happy.

I got the Bulgogi Sandwich. It was $6. Very tasty. Maybe a tad small BUT still enough for 6 bucks. I will go back.

  11. I like the Bulgogi sandwich but I have small problem with it and a suggestion on how to make it better. They put the meat on top of a lettus leaf in the bun, which looks good but it makes the beef juices collect and run out into your hands as you bite into it. They should let the beef come in contact with the bun for it to absorb some of the juices to avoid the mess.

  12. Username303

@nailz, you're right. I did have the same issue, tho I hold it such that it drips onto my place (then I dip it back in!). Shredding the lettuce would help.

  13. Dave

If the meat is on top of a lettuce leaf, then if you turned the sandwich over, it would be under the leaf, no?

I believe I will test this hypothesis today.

  14. Dave: turning it over would make the beef fall out or if you manage to keep it in the bun, it would still be wrapped in the leaf. Username has it right, shred the lettuce.
